Actually, one of the organisers has one, but we can't get it fixed in time for the show, but apart from that nobody local seems to have one.... :-(

Hey hopefully me and my A1 will be driving down from Nottingham in my old Camper.
I'll probably be a nervous wreck by the time I get off the M1 onto M42 let alone the 90 odd miles down the M5.
So derby shoudn't be too much of a problem.

Am I just being way too grumpy or does anyone else think that they should be expending the time/money/energy that they're using for this "OS 4 world tour" on FINISHING THE FRELLING OS?!? Why worry about PR?

OS4 is nearly finished.... I am sure there are developers who develope for it in meantime also...
I personally think PR is very important also, just look where commodore ended up...

I think I'll be giving it a miss.  Yes, I know I threatened to arrange a similar event myself a few months back, but back then it seemed like a Good Idea TM.  A week before my birthday, and with any luck OS4.0 should have already been released, or at least only a matter of a Few More Weeks TM before release, so a journey to Bath to check it out falls slightly below "sane" on the Amiga evangelists appreciation society sanity scale, where 10 is "very sane" and 0 is "below insanity" (I'd give it one*).

Soz guys (and gals) but anybody making 300 mile round trips probably rank -7 on my scale.   If it was a full Amiga show I might reconsider.

[offtopic]
Ours is on the 6th, a Saturday. Odd I though they used to be on Fridays. :-D

Who's you girlfriend? Just nosy :-o
[/off topic]

Any news on the venue/parking etc? I think I've roped some of my friends to come to, but one lives in Harrogate and thus is a bit of a trek. This might mean booking a hotel for the Sat night, so driving back on Sunday is less of a hassle.
