Amiga OS 4.0 on Tour starts.

The AmigaOS 4.0 on Tour is about to start. We have the machines ready to go and will reach Ljubljana on Sat. morning for for the first event.

We will have AmigaOS 4.0 running the new default look with a big surprise for you. Also ExecSG will run it's first native OS4 PowerPC Demo.

No other computing event has gotten me this excited ever. I lit up completely when I towered and reinstalled workbench a while ago, as well.

If OS4 rocks, then it will rock because it's good, not because it's OS4. And if its not good, then it will suck, regardless of whether it's OS4 or not.

I'm hoping for some good, unbiased reports on it, good or bad. 8-)

I hope the interface (note: not the same as appearance) has been significantly improved. Amiga OS is still my favourite OS, but Workbench left something to be desired in fundamental areas such as icon arrangement...
