Stick a for sale ad on Amibench.

But say they are FREE

Probably like the individual who posted a "free" (A1000?) a few weeks ago, then when he got a lot of PM's decided to let it go to the "highest bidder" instead of the first person who contacted him...

Very few stay true to their word nowadays.

They're just testing grounds, and when they realize there's interest, they take advantage of people's willingness to pay.  "Free" is today the biggest sales pitch, it seems.

Well, these aren't for sale... they are for "pick me up".

Now, at least 3 people clearly indicated they are interested and either themselves or a friend can pick stuff up so I will have to divide the pile among these people.

Too bad for people who expected to see a computer destruction derby...

Well, James has decided I was a very suspicious person because I had an urgent meeting at the university and I wouldn't let him wander around alone in my storage.

Therefore there are still many free Amiga 500 and accessories to give away for free for anyone willing to pick them up.

PM me!

You can have mine then. I picked up 3 A500's today for 40 Euro. I wouldn't need a 4th now anymore (I still haven't space for all my other Amiga's and my girlfriend got mad with me again as well :-D )

If another one of these A500s becomes available, I would be willing to pay the cost of shipping for one of these.

:-)

Thanks! Hopefully everything works out with these; I've wanted an Amiga for quite a while now.

When I do pick up the Amiga's I will post a thread asking who would like one for cost of shipping (depends on how many I pick up of course, I would like to add them to my collection but I may have too many at that point and will be in the same problem as McVenco, but with the wife, girlfriend does not mind) :-)

Very cool. I'm in Wisconsin, so hopefully shipping is on the cheap side.

I just wanted to say that I picked up two A500s from eslapion.
He's a very nice and friendly person and he's still got lots of stuff if the rest of you guys are interested. :-)

He also gave me an original Commodore PC keyboard (cca 1992?) which I cleaned and now it looks like new. I am actually using it to type this. (Finally a perfect keyboard for my pc, hehe!)

Thanks very much eslapion, great stuff... :-D
