@x56h34

But still, does it make it worth more than 200-250 EURO more than other boards with the same specs?

And Dellert even said to me "tell Framiga I said hi!". ;-)

@doctorq:

I just listed another selling point to help Nick out. :-) I won't make any comment on the price though. :-)

Well, I still think that you are into a big surprise if you expect your ram to fetch 200 EURO, or as you have calculated it to be, 130 UKP.

But good luck with your sale, however I think you could just as well get started on that ebay advert...

This card has got some serious history behind it though.
It has survived the "send it to DCE for upgrade to revision 2" process. Upgraded by Thomas Dellert himself. :-)

Oooh I never new that! :-)

Add another £500 quid to the price then! ;-)

@mdma:

Selling the entire lot?
It seems to me like you've gone through the standard Amiga system builder's process of 8 phases:

Phase 1 - Excitment. You've decided to invest into a kick-ass Amiga system. Let's get busy!

Phase 2 - Parts are slowly comming in. You are on your way to an Amiga dream machine.

Phase 3 - Neato! Your system is at a functional stage. It's a little hectic sorting out all the bugs, however you are still quite ambitious!

Phase 4 - More hardware arrives and the system is complete, however what used to work fine now doesn't, as new hardware has been added. Sigh...ok back to sorting out bugs.

Phase 5 - Everything works great! I have a 100% working Amiga powerhouse system! I rule!

Phase 6 - OK, now that everything works...what the hell am I supposed to do with all this junk? Does anything actually useful run on it!?

Phase 7 - Tower is extremely dusty...I can't remember the last time I powered it up.

Phase 8 - OK that's it! To hell with this. I'm selling it all!

:-)

@mdma

Not that I'm the one in a position to state prices, but I will give it a shot.

I would think that a price of 500 EURO, roughly 350 UKP, is the price you would get for such a system. You would still need to wait for the right buyer though.

Part it out, and you will get a bit more, but don't expect to get everything sold, you will most likely get stuck with CDs, CD drives and harddrives.

Sorry, I hope I haven't given you the blues. Just out of curiosity (spelled wrong I take), why are you selling? Because you won't play around with Amiga anymore, or because of an immediately need for cash?

Heheh, I don't really want to sell it.  I have an urgent need for immediate cash.  :-(

I need cash urgently.

The BPPC cost me approx £230 inc shipping, then approx £35 paypal credit card fees, then £63 VAT when it arrived to the customs bloodsuckers.  So if anyone buys it I won't take less than that.

£350 is an extortionat ammount of money for such a card, it was only around £250 when it came out all those years ago !  an 040 based ppc card is absolutly no fun at all especially at such a high asking price. even for an 060 based card, would need a good long think before splashing out that kinda cash for one.

If that 040 goes for 350, that ill sell mine right now and get an 060 based card with a couple of quid to spare ;)
