JESUS! i found this awesome game today at work and oboy!!! its damn good.

Its a mix with Ikari warriors and Cannon Fodder and alot of ARCADE style extras and stuff..

Aye, neat game. It grew bored of it very quickly though, there's just not much point :-). No storyline or anything. It faintly reminds me of Damage: The Sadastic Butchering of Humanity 8-).

Haha, damage has a homepage. And you can buy damage t-shirts. That's just excellent.

I've played that game lots and lots. It's just cool in some undescribable way

Just wondering...

If Shoot-em-ups is your favorite. I guess then you might be quite amazed from some shooters for the Dreamcast.  Sure you dont shoot like on ground, but its air shooting with spacecrafts.  The game names are IKARUGA and ZERO GUNNER 2. Both are Japanese titles, but the menus are in english.  IKARUGA was made for gamecube, but for some reason the Dreamcast version just rocks the house.  :-D

anyway i have botha saturn and DC for my shoot em up needs but crimsonland was damned nice too and simplestic!

and tbh i like land and sea and space shooters, both horiz and vertical and 3d iso style ones but i hate FPS games mostly, though some is quite nice in 1 player and others is fun in multiplauyer only

The worst 3d SEU I have ever played was GigaWing2 on... Dreamcast, I think?
It was pathetic, the machine just could NOT cope with all the elements on the screen... Muhahahahaha!

dreamcast were and still are awesome consoles, so dont diss the dream!!

secondly, instead of wishing for games to be ported over to the amiga (which by the time happens they will be vvery old and dated, will do nothing for ther platform's reputation), why not work on better equivalents??

better graphics etc to show off the new amigas graphics capability
blast away those thoughts from people that the amiga can only handle 256 colours

I agree with you, we need just a few ports to make people aware that the Amiga CAN do it, then LOADS of brilliant originals to show it can OUTDO them!

Cannon Fodder had a sequel too, not sure if it was any good. Also I
remember Sensible Massacre being amusing - was this PD?

As for 3D shoot 'em ups my favourite is Lylat Wars (Starfox) on the
N64, the closest on Amiga would be WipEout 2097 I suppose. Radiant
Silvergun was incredibly boring - the most interesting thing about it
was the prices it was getting on eBay!

chromium is a very cool fast paced shooter, I think it's also compiled for the Amiga (under Linux, that is).

tis kinda fun game, I tried the demo, thus far, it seriously lacks variety and atmosphere.
This would be cool if it was the next Alien breed (with Alien Breedish levels)
or if Blizzard would give it a touch of StarCraft (with air units, bunkers, stationary air or ground guns etcetera).
