Amiga.org formus seems to nuke my i-net connection.
« on: March 27, 2008, 09:08:03 PM »
I've had this problem previusly on my classic running IBrowse. Which I thought was just the classic behaving badly. But my x86 with Firefox does the same (havn't visited AO in a long time). I sometimes have to physicly rip the USB plug of my Hi3G modem to re-establish the internet connection after posting/reading the forums here at AO. But the problem remains even if all h/w s/w have changed. Sounds familiar? Any ideas?
*Zap! Zap!* Ha! Take that! *Kabooom!* Hey, that\'s not fair!

The old one doesn't even exist! And the one I'm using today have won the best-in-the-nation award for two or three years in a row - and is praized by it's users for always giving 100% performance. That's why it's so weird - nothing is the same yet this AO-specific problem remains.

Every other site works fine.

I should probably write it seems traffic related (in one end or another). Right now it works like a dream. On other occations AO just dead-locks my connection.

And you guys probably have a point: connecting through ethernet  probably gives the connection a bit more skin on it's nose. But having that as a site requirement..?
