Title: Fast Track VHDL

I'm looking for the quickest, most concise way for a beginner to learn VHDL.

If it makes a difference I just purchased a BeMicro USB evaluation board, featuring the Cyclone III FPGA, just to have something real to play with. I figured I couldn't go wrong for $49.

Video sources would be best, but recommendations on books would be helpful too.

http://www.xgamestation.com has ABEL based class that is suppose to get someone started in programmable logic.
I would like to buy one but at 150.00 US. I do not know if I want one. I can act as a progammer for other chips.

Replying to an old thread, but there is a relatively cheap vhdl course online right now for anyone interested in learning. board not included, desription says "a xilinx board" and I'm going to try to go with my zed board or nexys2. It would be cool if minimig boards would be useful, or FPGA Arcade, but i'm not yet far enough to know all requirements.
