Ok, so nobody freak out -- topics are being consolidated

Hi Guys,

Over the last few weeks, I have gotten about 5 requests to build new news topics specifically for different efforts such as AROS, RC5, etcetera.   On thinking about this, I realized how truly out of control our news system is, with almost 40 seperate topics for everything, most of them widely overlapping.

Hence!  I am now in the process of consolidating the news topics FROM THE TOP into seven different categories as follows;

Announcements
Events
Hardware
Internet News
Miscellaneous
Software
Retail News

So, PLEASE DO NOT FREAK OUT and START CRAZY RUMORS if you notice that the Amiga Inc topic is gone first, but the Genesi/others are still there.  THIS IS A LENGTHY PROCESS where every single news item in every topic has to be reviewed and placed correctly.

ALL OTHER TOPICS other than the aforementioned seven will disappear.  I cannot create 100 different topics for everyone, so the only fair thing is to get rid of the specific topics.

Also, add one -- User Groups because it didn't fit in anywhere else and we want to help promote them.

Actually, you could always consolidate the user groups as events.
