Drat. And I was registered for the June batch, and no invoice. I have written Petro hoping for some info. I wonder why the July batch passed through and not the June one?!

I had problems at the bank, spotting the address of Petro's bank from the invoice; also whether the invoice should be paid to Petro's name or Power Service gmbh. I hope the money won't bounce back :(

Don't worry. I also had some trouble with it. Try to use:

Name: POWER SERVICE GMBH
Address: POSTFACH 1228
City: D-63305 RODERMARK
Country: GERMANY

I used these and my money is already received by Petro.

I just got confirmation by the bank that the transaction went fine. And I didn't use those details above. Anyway :D

After 15 years I will have Amiga again :)

What kind of adapter is needed to connect to LCD TV ?

Good news! :)

I guess Amiga RGB - SCART is the best (quality:easiness) option for now.

If you want to use it without scart/composite/RF on a modern monitor you either have to find a display that can handle 15KHz vertical refresh rate.

But in many cases you can run the Amiga to the TV via above outputs, ive had varried success with picture quality depending on TV, many times I get quite annoying flickering.

I have had some luck with the more expensive RGB to VGA converters, not perfect but somwhat OK, you can also use a GBS-8220 converter.

But I got tired of it all and got a Indivision AGA MK2 scandoubler/flicker fixer instead.

I would first try RGB to scart and see how it goes.

Edit: I probably missed something but im quite tired at the moment.

I have a Samsung LED/TV unit; it has both SCART and composite video inputs. I guess the A1200 can be connected directly to the composite input? Which resolutions would it handle in such configuration?
Sorry for the possibly stupid question, but I have never had an Amiga before :)

There is no stupid questions! When using SCART or composite ive experienced alot of mixed results, some tvs are picky, so best way to know is just trying different modes to see what display the best :)

@rabindranath72

There's no absolutes in regards to Amigas and tvs/monitors unfortunately, but generally 30ish khz modes will be fine for most modern screens. 15khz modes however (what 95% or so of custom chipset based games use) are a mixed bag, both in regards to success and quality of image.
More often than not however if a display has scart it'll display 15khz modes. Composite will also work @15khz, but the image of the a1200's composite output is far from great. An a520 modulator will give better results if you find yourself needing to resort to composite.
Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.

I received my invoice last week while out of town and first thing (9 am for the bloody bank) this am I got my funds transferred.  I will have to fill it out with a Magic Pak of software and a dual voltage PSU (I converted a 500W mATX for 25 USD off eBay) connected to one of the A500/600/1200 plugs from Mech's http://www.A4000T.com site.
