Wouldn't that put you out of a jobbie? Aros doesn't run Visual Basic, neither does AOS4. I guess you'd have to learn C++ unless you wanted to live in your fiero.

Stop being a troll.

...or atleast a troll that follows me around...
...and do pick up a new hobbie for christ's sake...

I'm a troll because I pointed out that you would have to learn a new language if everybody jumped on the Amiga bandwagon?

You make it sound like PCs are expensive. People buy them precisely because they are cheap, and people do as they are told via mass marketing.

Hmm sorry if i do. I have been saying the new Amiga has to be cheap to compete with the PCs because PCs are so cheap.

Couldn't disagree with you more. People are willing to pay for performance.

Also I said the AmigaOne failed so spectacularly in sales because it was so expensive. It had nothing to do with the OS...but that price tag drove people away.

The AmigaOne was out of its element. The wrong hardware and software at the wrong time - but give us an "Amiga" again and it will sell.

But those days are gone, and as a consumer product, the Amiga has to compete not with the hardware (it will lose) it has to compete with the software...

The Amiga will never compete with the PC at its own game. I believe the Amiga, with a complete hardware overhaul (not an AmigeOne) could fill a niche market.

Amigas:
A1000, 8mb Phoenix Fast-Ram Expansion
A2000HD, Kick 3.1, Fusion 68040, 20megs Fast Ram, Genlock

You're a troll because it's fairly off-topic and just a personal attack.

By the way, after I posted the link in the other thread to the pics of my ex, I noticed you were quiet for a couple of days.  Now I see the wrists are limber again...  Afterall, you do want to get personal...

I agree that this is the perfect time for the Amiga to make it's comeback and offer a low cost, alternative to computers that will be fun and easy to use.

Unfortunately, that means Amiga Inc needs to get on the ball and get things done.  They may not have the funds or development to do it.
