Title: Create FFS partion on real HDD via WinUAE
Post by: JohnFante on February 28, 2015, 01:09:40 PM
I need to create a small 500 MB FFS DOS7 Amiga partition on a real sata HDD via WinUAE.

The partition needs top have to the following parameters:

Name: Boot
Blocksize: 2048
Buffers: 600
Identifier: 444F5307

I run WinUAE as administrator and add the 300GB sata HDD i want to use. I am running the latest version of AmiKit and WinUAE 3.0.0. When I open HDtools and choose the uaescsi.device it tells me that the device cannot be handled by HDtoolbox.

Any suggestions for the correct settings?

uaescsi is for CD drives. Use uaehf.device for hard drives.

Don't change the WinUAE config. Just use uaehf.device with HDToolbox. UAE controller = uaehf.device.
