Skittyhorpe Amiga Usergroup meeting, 25th June -UK
« on: June 08, 2005, 10:39:40 PM »
Hey guys

We're holding our quarterly usergroup meeting in just over 2 weeks time, the 25th of this month to be exact.

The venue is confirmed to be the same venue we used for our SCAG show (www.IntuitionBase.com/SCAG).

If you'd like to be there, or just join our group all you have to do is send an email to scag-request@freelists.org with 'subscribe' in the Subject field. That subscribes you to the mailing list, and makes you a member Doesnt cost anything to join SCAG, Just ask you to pay a small entrance fee to any shows we put on, and any usergroup meetings you attend there will be a collection plate to help pay for the venue hire.

Website will go up soon, when I have the inspiration to make one

Hi, I missed the April meet (found out about it on Google a few days after the event).
I live in Hull  :-( , and am glad to find an amiga users group so close.  How many members btw?

I'd like to make it on the 25th (depending on the Humber Mouth literature festival dates), but will be coming by train/bus so don't fancy lugging my tower all the way down there.

I've got a Commodore Pet II (P-500), but haven't yet found a monitor which it can run on.  If anyone you know has one (a weird 7 pin Din thing) I can bring that down.  Haven't got any software for it, but if anyone wants to have a play around with it they're quite welcome. :-)
Mac Mini G4 (1.5GHz, 64MB VRam, 1GB Ram): MorphOS 3.6
Powerbook 5.8 (15", 1.67GHz, 128MB VRam, 1GB Ram): MorphOS 3.8.

Windows-free since 2011-2014 (Damn you Netflix!)

Hmm I dont think anyone will have a monitor for the PET, but I will ask around. You should sign up to your mailing list so you can be kept upto date and also meet the rest of our members.

As for total members, Im not really sure.... I guess its a wait and see type of thing :-)

Oh and no worries about trains, theres a station in Keadby so aslong as you get the right train you can get off 2 minutes walk away from the venue.

I thought we were now up to the heady heights of 3 users (?)

Anyway, I'll probably pop in, but won't be bringing any computers - lots to do, not enough time ...
