Looks like he's been doing some vacationing from the photos on his Facebook page.  I got an app request from him this morning: "Petro invited you to play CastleVille"!!!  :-P

Amigakit has always been very good at not saying anything unless they are sure they are getting stock.

So, even if they were planning on trying to talk to Petro about this, they probably wouldn't say anything until they we sure stock was on it's way..

I appreciate that, even if, in the past, it has led to lots of people saying "Well, Vesalia has it on their website!!"  ;-)

can someone ask petro if he can make New batches, the way he did last time for Escom ?

Does he have the AGA chipset diagrams to make new models ?

If anyone has the diagrams it would be Petro

I think all diagrams are copyrighted by AMIGA Inc and make new batches must be also approuved by the owner of the licence.

I doubt that'd be financially viable anyway - we're talking about making a small batch of almost 20 year-old hardware.

The problem with the old chips, is that even I you have the die masks... There aren't any fabs that could make them anymore... Best just to recreate them with FPGAs... Jens did that for each of the chips in turn. But 5v FPGs are old, expensive and difficult to source now :)

Yeah, some more information would be nice. Fe. where are the units shipped from? Germany?

I sent a query to the mail mentioned above. I received a reply from Petro himself, saying that he will "receive on 15 November 60 units A 1200 Magic Pack". That didn't really answer my original question if he takes pre-orders/reservations or not. I just sent him a reply and asked some more questions.

Are there any more details on his Facebook page?
Commodore KIM-1, PET-2001, CBM 8032, CBM 8050, CBM 8250LP, D9060, VIC-20, C64, C64c, 1541, 1541-II, 1571, 1581,
Amiga A1000, A1060 Sidecar, A500, CDTV, CD32, 1084S, A1200, A1200 Magic Pack from Petro, ex-custom-case A3000T (now a complete A3000T), repaired A4000T and looking for more :)

It would be easier to use something like the FPGA Arcade instead and put it in an off-the-shelf case.  In theory you could use the FPGA Arcade's expansion port to provide additional expansion slots (although the upcoming daughterboard takes care of almost all of your expansion needs).
A2000, A3000, 2 x A1200T, A1200, A4000Tower & Mediator, CD32, VIC-20, C64, C128, C128D, PET 8032, Minimig & ARM, C-One, FPGA Arcade... and AmigaOne X1000.
