No full duplex for Toccata ?
« on: April 12, 2010, 09:42:47 PM »
The hardware description on LexSite (http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/toccata) mentions:
"record and playback simultaneously".
http://www.amiga-hardware.com mentions nothing. On the toccata manual's last pages (a very bad scanning a fellow member sent me, we're still looking for a good scan but it's readable) there is a schematic showing the general design of the card and it seems that the DA and AD converters work separately and the software would be the responsible to receive and provide the stream for each.
However there is no full duplex AHI driver for it.

I haven't looked at the docs for the toccata.library but I bet full duplex isn't supported otherwise there would be an AHI driver supporting it...

Have yet also to try Samplitude which I think uses toccata.library directly, anyone used that ?
