Those who IRC, MUCK, or Fark are probably familiar with the "amusing picture" archives scattered around this here internetweb thing.
Ignoring the politics for a moment, someone shot me catbagel.jpg (http://www.banthis.com/pics/catbagel.jpg) (safe, innocuous, mildly disturbing) today, and browsing the directory* turned up http://www.banthis.com/pics/microputer.jpg (http://www.banthis.com/pics/microputer.jpg), which has apparently been there since Feb 26 of this year.
So, for whatever it's worth, it looks like something resembling "normal humans" did notice. Sort of a shame that, devoid of context, 'kids today' will easily mistake it for something like XFCE on x86.
*Beware, other content is NSFW, obscene, violent, full of old unfunny junk you've seen everywhere else, the usual.
