@downix

erhm if you are from Florida, why would you use a dial up connection? for most users a 256Kb DSL connection is just as cheap. and you get to use a nic instead. less cpu load.
My name is Filson. I solve problems.

Good news! It seems you got some more contents in your package than I did (thinking about the games). But of course you had to wait longer too, so it's kind of fair anyway ;-)

I guess this will render even more traffic in the BT2 mailing list. :-)
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :)

I got mine saturday.
I set it up saturday ;) Everything went smoothly . It picked up my voodoo3 without having anything to set.
I transfered all my Amiga files to it. Now I need just some time for testing everything.

I have to say it is very FAST  :-o   :-P
It is now online and I can browse with it. My fastest browsing experience ever !

I'am writing a Pegasos diary so I will share my experience with you guys (as soon as I put it online).
My 4000 feels very slow now.
What I need now is more time to test and write about it.
I have ordered a few software from IOSPIRIT that I will test later too.

Thank you Genesi. I have been waiting for this for years !

When AInc deliver those t-shirts ? Hmmm oh äh, well I think
that was rethoric question ..... :-P
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

Hooligan my man: if we can ever get our Phoenix/Genesi Demo Scene Initiative finalized (#$!%@!) ... I can reasonably surmise that any Demo Sceners will also be getting T-Shirts with their choice of graphics/logo affiliation on one side and the Genesi stuff on the other.

So don't be worrying about having enough to wear!  :  }

@filson

I signed up for DSL now 6 weeks ago...

First they blew out my phone lines repeater, killing my phone service entirely

Then they got that back, but no DSL still

Now they're claiming some kind of load blocker is on the line, so I can't get service via Earthlink as I intended... but I'm free to get it through Bell South.  I can't get it through bell south as it's not my phone line here (helping out the in-laws by helping to keep up their house till the wife and I can buy one of our own).

That'd be nice .. summer is coming and all. Besides, my DCS t-shirt is getting worn up :)

If only SOMEONE would do SOMETHING mentioned a FEW times ...  ;-)

ps.how about being nice and print "I AM AMIGA" logos for 1200 t-shirts.. and send them to certain firm for re-posting ..?

Not even one person whome I have spoken to about MOS is expecting it to be 100% ready. Look it like we're doing testing on it and the final release will be with Pegasos2.

will they support AOS 4 when it comes out?

No because certin people have chosen to want OS4 to only run on AmigaOne.
I could get more into it... but a flame war with alot of FUD and nonsense would insue.

It makes me happy to see a company finally doing what we've all wanted for so long... a practical use for an OS that is forward moving and yet compatible to AmigaOS with a similer UI and good responsiveness...

If they can get MOS into STB's and get some contracts for PDA"s maybe? eclipsis? ... it will be wonderful.

I really for once feel good honest happieness for this genre once again.. it's great to see it developing into something.
