C64 on Serius radio
« on: April 24, 2008, 04:34:11 AM »
I rented a car yesterday with a Serius satelite radio, which was great because I was driving through Nebraska. Channel 8 (80s programming) claimed to utilize a Commodore 64 to make music selections.  Every few songs, they would make a big deal about this. Sometimes they would play various computer spoken phrases, it was supposed to be the C64 talking. It was kind of cool if it was genuine.

Is anyone using a souped-up C64 to play and randomize their Mp3 collection?

by the way, that is spelled, "Sirius"

I've never listened to channel "8". when I get a moment I'll try it and see what they are talking about. I love my Sirius radio!
