Nice, I would buy it but I don't get paid till Fridays. It would be a nice upgrade from an 030.

I'd say around the low end of fair market value. Cheap would be laround $30-$70.
A2500 owned since 1993 with A2630/DKB 2632, DKB Megachip, GVP EGS Spectrum, A2320 and GVP HC+8 on the inside and a DCTV on the outside. A4000D with CSPPC, Cybervision 64 and a Flicker Magic flicker fixer. A4000T Toaster Flyer & CSMKII. All systems completly retro and classic and mostly used to do geometic art as in my avatar.

I think the ebay value of this board is $130+ maybe even $150+ due to the AT version. You will NOT find any A3640 for the price range you stated.

I agree, and this one has the capacitors installed correctly, unlike most (all?) of the Commodore units.

When listing I had seen one go in the UK for a higher price back in November.

now that the 'buy it now' is gone, am comfortable with whatever price it brings via auction today.

...coming into the homestretch ...will be over shortly.
Sincerely,

with all the discussion above about proper pricing for this, and about an hour until
auction end,
I thought I'd post a mention for fair warning...

There are "several" people "watching" this listing.

There may only be one bid so far, but there seems to be a lot of interest.

...just in case you're thinking of bidding last second, may not be an easy squeeze.

just sayin'

Thanks for your interest!
Sincerely,

-- Sprocket...

It looked like a rev 3.1 board from the pictures. The capacitors are not that big an issue if they haven't yet leaked. Remove them and the board will work fine without them. I actually had my first 3640 go bad because one of the capacitors that was mounted with the right polarity leaked. All 5 capacitors on the board are power ground capacitors that stabilize the supply voltage at the chips.

I just looked at the sale price and it is almost exactly what I paid for a rev 3.1 3640 last year.
