Amiga coverted USB optical mouse problems
« on: March 05, 2024, 09:06:48 PM »
First of all I want to greet you all because I am new to this forum !

I'm happy new Amiga owner. Had it in 80's and now I'm back with 500 bought from Ebay. I bought it without mouse so one of first things for me was to obtain compatible mouse. And i found optical Logitech M-BJ58 USB mouse that i have converted to Amiga DB9 pinout. I have tested mouse in Workbench and in some other programs and it works OK. After that i have tested it in Hybris i found that it has some problems, it works, but doesn't track movement all the time correctly, it seem to me that it has some sensitivity problem but not only that. It seems strange, at moments reacts faster at moments slower to movement. Anybody has experience with converting mouses like this one ?

To convert it i have followed tutorial on Youtube: https://youtu.be/65WtpDSQDiY
