Title: pirates can't save game

Hi all:
For a long time I had pirates original disks + manual and map, but never used it.
The other day i tried playing on my amiga 2000 (unexpanded 68000).
Everything works, but when I tried saving the game (to formatted blank disk), I get an error cannot save the file.
I tried installing the game to HD (the manual explains how to do it) in case it might
save the game to HD. Again, everything works, but also when saving I get the same error
message. I am very sad, and dunno why this is happening.
Any ideas ?

I'd try another version, maybe you have an early release with bugs.
