I understand that beos wont run.  My heading and content is not in agreement.
I do not know if a quadra has the same firmware situation as the ppc macs (ppc 8500).  I have tried to run Beos on PPC mac and no luck.
OS3.9 on mac with some sort of chip set emulator, unknown answer here.
Amiga 2000 Forever :)

The firmware on a 68k Mac is totally different to a PPC Mac. And running OS3.9 on a 68k Mac using chipset emulation would be unusably slow. It would be like using UAE on a 68k Amiga.
