What benifits?

Well there are the run-of-the-mill benifits you can find on most any advocacy site so I will simply say...

I have never regretted spending my money on an Apple computer, but I have twice built an x86 machine and then thought "I wished I had saved for a Mac."

I prefer the Mac enviroment/scene.

P.S. I also like the BeOS scene in general and the OS, but it being what it is... and the Morph vs. Amiga being what it is... I think you'll find the Mac scene is alive. We even have an old fashioned Mac User group in Utah that meets at the UofU. :-)

I've got one of the G3 400 Mhz DV iMac systems I was going to Ebay,  its blueberry (if you are wondering the color), and its local so we could skip that shipping and all that, even have the original box sitting in the garage if you want it.

Latest versions of sound software like steinberg's ones aren't compatible with the mini. Don't ask me, just have seen a review on a music magazine and lot of people are kicking their minis in order to get a more professional machine.
Of course, if you are not a musician you could pass it out.
