It's not explicit, but I think he's talking about ARexx. There's still nothing like it on other platforms. We remain the kings of interprocess communication! :)

Many programs have the capability, but how many take advantage of it? How many developers? I find it a lot harder to find AppleScripts than to find ARexx scripts.
