Still remember Waaslandia vaguely
-
Kuan_Ti : trust me, this club is different than Waaslandia, as far as I see it (with my limited knowledge of human beings) it´s much more friendly and we all tend to stick together, espcially after our two meetings (with lotsa belgian beer) :-)
-
Bilzen! Very nice!

That's something I really miss here in Finland: The Belgian Beer. Really, here you get Karjala, Koff or Lapin Kulta... Tastes like dishwater to me :-D (no offense to the Finnish active on this site)

Hey, those brands ARE dishwater. :-)
Tried Karhu (http://www.karhu.fi/images/sikspak.jpg)?
(Ok, it prolly still isn't something you're used to, but at least it has some decent taste in it. IMO)
Finally: I am sure you can find belgian beer from .fi too, at least if you know where to look.

The Register seemed to have covered this story in English. Although they seem to have got their wires crossed about Tulip owning Amiga (they must have been thinking about ESCOM methinks) but oh well it's still worth a read. Check it out...

I have to ask "why?"

In the USA Commodore is apparentley still highly regarded as a brand name.
Not so here in the UK.
I wonder if Clive Sinclair started a rival to Apple iTunes called Sinclair Choon's whether he'd have a hit on his hands? ;-)

here is a link to a better one in clear english.

Is that "millions" = 1E06 or 1E09 ? I'm guessing the former, but who knows when people are separated by a common language. :-)
-
@weirdami
Millions are millions, it's just that some people's trillions are really just billions......
