Here are this weeks rankings, make of them what you will...originally this was about the relative popularity of MorphOS and Amiga websites, but Amiga websites continue to dominate.
of course, I visit many other amiga and morphos
sites but they don't make the alexa.com rankings.
This week, I ranked by 1 week order, rather than 3 month average.
Lower number is better.
*edit* (to make numbers clearer)
1.Amiga.org weekly avg. 91,363 --3-month avg: 154,980
* Continues to ROCK ON.
ann.lu weekly avg.: 145,422 -- 3-month avg: 592,853
* climbing dramatically in alexa's ratings, they were being counted inexplicably low, when I first started looking at alexa.
amigaworld.net weekly avg: 212,232 -- 3-month avg: 293,758
*this little web-site that could, continues to make slow progress
amiga.com weekly avg: 389,698 --3-month avg: 185,076
* as the site drops in overall popularity, the percentage visiting os.amiga.com represents more of the traffic, perhaps saving the site from even more decline. Of course, being down a lot, doesn't help them.
not enough to make the rankings yet: morphos-news.de, amiga-news.de,
amigaworld.org...will keep an eye if they start moving upwards.

ehrm, am i reading this wrong or did Amiga.org go from a 154.980 place to a 91.363 place in 3 months or is the 91.363 an increased/decreased hit count? :-?
-
sorry, the original post didn't make a whole lot of sense.....LOL
ok I edited it...it has two numbers now...
1 week average
3 month average
both numbers are current, just showing the relative rankings for the sites over a 1 week period or a 3 month period. Obviously if you are getting popular, it will take longer to really show in the 3 month figure.
but....1 week is such a short time frame, that some big spike could make you look more popular than might be fair.

MArktime,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I find it most interesting. Please, if you wouldn't mind, keep us updated for a bit?

Do you have to run the Alexa toolbar? Is that how they track you?

Hmm, what happened around the 24th/25th of last month? The AmigaOne suddenly takes off and the Pegasos trails downwards. Maybe it is people receiving their A1 XEs.

@Marktime
Wow, I didn't know Alexa had a toolbar. Thanks, I just installed it.
