:-( I hate to ask PC advice on an Amiga forum, but since Amigans tend to know more about all computers than other folk, this seemed to be the best place to go.
A friend recently did something with his PC that he can't straighten out. I've managed to fix much of it for him, but one detail puzzles me. The dislay control panel now has three tabs instead of the normal six. Where Windows 98 normally has tabs for "Background, Screen Saver, Appearance, Effects, Web & Settings," he now sees only "Screen Saver, Effects, and Settings."
:-? I assume that this is controlled somewhere in the system registry, but so far I'm unable to find anything related. Windows' help file has nothing, either.
Does anyone have advice?
