I'm sorry to ask this, but does any one know how to stop the microslop internet search page from coming up in IE when if can't find a URL?

Shame on me  :-P

Run Opera32.exe and use Opera instead. :-D ;-)

But seriously, I think you can't. MSN is hardcoded into IE.

Are you sure? It never used to do it... I've not updated Blingdozes or the hexsnora program... I really don't understand.

You may have let Microsoft send you autoupdates and auto-install them. One of these may have made the patch.

Who can tell with these software fascists?

Yes, it's possibl, but I am very careful about what I allow into my network :-(

Get to Internet Options from either IE's menus or the control panel. There's an option called 'Search from the Address bar'. Select 'Do not search from the Address bar'.
