The cheapest way right now is to get a Raspberry Pi 2 B. That can emulate an A1200 fairly consistently right now, and the software (FS-UAE) will only get faster as it is optimised for this new device.

Obviously real hardware is best, if you have the space, but you will need quite a few adaptors if you want to run it via HDMI. Scart is still a good option for gaming though - most Amiga games were fine over this. Also you may have to spend time cleaning the case, worrying about battery leakage, worrying about 20 year old hardware and so on.

The FPGA Arcade is a good option if you want newer hardware that actually behaves just like an Amiga (rather than software emulation). The difficulty with this platform is getting it.

The best way is to get into a time machine and go back to 1993. But before you do, go and get your memory of all modern games wiped. You can't take cash so you'll need to buy silver, gold, or diamonds.

Actually you should be able to take pound coins, as there are plenty of them still in circulation from 1983 onwards. It might take some time to get a large enough collection of these though. Notes, of course, are renewed very frequently so there won't be any from that time or design. Gold is probably the best option, go back in time to 1999 to buy some from Gordon Brown, and then take that back to 1987.

Aside from Apple shares, also buy properties in London in the early 90s (and sell in 2007, rebuy in 2010...)
