Well after trying to get EUAE, MaxUAE running with no luck on my Powerbook, I installed AmigaForever 6 on top of my VirtualPC 6 and I am at this moment playing an old Amiga game that I have not played for years. Millenium 2.2 (I know the spelling is wrong, but that is how the developer spelled it). The original game disks would only run on OS 1.2 for me, but a hard drive installable version I found on the net runs under OS 3.1. Sound is a bit messed up, but that is probably my AF6 settings being off. I don't know why I like this old, turn based, strategy game so much, but I do. I am going to try to program a duplicate of the game play and theme, but add some randomness to the location and amounts of resources as a project to learn Amiga programming with my Son. Amos or BlitzBasic first, C or C+ later.
Stupid, I know, but I get a sense of satisfaction seeing that old familiar Amiga OS on my 15" Powerbook screen.
