Bought Worms CD32 from eBay and loaded it up and on the menu it say's Director's Cut. Have I got a rare version? Maybe Team 17 decided to put the Director's Cut version onto a few CD's for the Amiga CD32 Version. I find this quite odd, but it's not a bad thing lol. When I press the fire button to start the game it resets it's self, don't know if there's a problem with the game or console. It's a real pain though. Anyone know if this means that I have the Director's Cut or does this text come up on all CD32 Versions? Thanks.

I don't think DC was ever released for CD32 apart from more recent unofficial ports. I'd suspect it's a knock-off. Does the CD look like it might have been burnt at home?

There ain't a CD32 version sorry :( as far as I know there are only a CD32 adapted version and it's not official so I guess you got a burned copy of the CD32 iso floating around :(

So are there actual CD32 improvements for this mysterious version of Director's Cut (CD audio, cutscenes) or is it just the floppy version on CD?

Problem solved, found out that the Director's Cut Text refer's to the FMV Cutscenes exclusive to the CD32. Also now know why the game reset's when I press the red button, have to leave the CD Drive Open and then press fire after the cutscenes to start the game.

Ok. Glad to hear hear it's not a bogus copy.

It is, though. The legit CD32 version of Worms doesn't do what frogpondforever is describing.
Edit: Hang on, I misunderstood. Yes, the normal Worms main menu says "The Director's Cut" on it. But the CD drive / reset / red button issue is not normal.

The game works now.

If you want other Team17 CD32 releases you can download them from here. All have the full permission from Team17.
