As a final touch I thougt I should drop the second adapter in a hd caddie/enclosure for easy removal if I want to copy files from my pc.
Those hdd caddys (in general) are somewhat cumbersome to get to work in a pc...
I've had my share of struggle with them.
Some of them works great... in the beginning... but then wear an tear starts to provoke sudden and strange error messages. And sometimes entire data transfers are just, magically "poof" gone..
The caddies I still have left are probably going to end up as targets some day....
