Awesome,

I'm more interested in a card for an A4000D as an initial purchase although I have a bare A1200 kicking around.  For a $300 price tag, well the money has just been earmarked so produce the product and you have a sale  :-D

If you do manage to release sometime soonish then I'm sure there will be decent demand, the community is wound like a spring waiting for "any" new hardware to play with and especially the chance for a bit of OS4 love!

Springs wound too much eventually snap so I hope you come through. :-)

@ackcontrols

Will it still be able to operate in stand-alone mode?  If so, then YES, most definately will order one.
Have you hugged your KennyR or Paul Gadd today?

@Adam

I'm in for when it's available standalone, including with/if a reasonable price increase.  (As it hasn't been stated yet about if mini-PCI card is included with the A1200 version, or not that I'm aware of, plus whatever 'terminator'/breakout costs there may be.)

Unsure about A1200 version, as I'd have to pick up an A1200.  If it was definite the standalone version was going to be available and could purchase the 'terminator' seperately, I'd likely go ahead and buy an A1200 and the PV, then convert it later to standalone.

If you're not aware, there's also some additional questions after we posted your IRC comments (not too surprisingly), you may or may not want to comment on:
http://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=18483&forum=33

(or here, but obviously there remain some questions people have..)

The target price is $299.00 USD MSRP for the board and an OEM copy of OS4.  Taxes and shipping would be extra.

Email sent.  If you come anywhere near that price I would order it without hesitation.

Adam, you obviously have an item that will sell well if made available.  Are you currently only looking for the people who will purchase the A1200 version.

I would love the A3000 version (I have 2 A3k's) but don't have an A1200.  I would, however, purchase the A1200 version if it is usable as stand alone with some additional parts to fit the case.

Maybe a poll would help sort this.

Put me down for one too Adam.

Not sure where to get the connectors though.  Anyone know where Elbox gets theirs?

I'm already on getting these connectors from far-east. I have a few manufacturers for edge connectors, and requested a number of items from them. Since the order quantity for each of them meets or exceeds minimum order quantities, I'm positive to have the connectors within the usual 14 weeks. However, none of the parts has been confirmed to be RoHS compliant, and I will not buy anything that's *not* RoHS compliant. In other words: The 14 weeks start counting after I found a supplier who can confirm compliance, so no chance to have an arrival date in Europe yet.

Also note that I have a large stock (a few thousand) of A4000 accelerator connectors that could be used for your design. I'm happy to sell them to you at cost, because these are not RoHS compliant (they most probably contain lead on the solderpins - my X-Ray measurement device has not arrived yet).

I will buy whatever version that comes first. Both a1200 and a4000 versions will suit me fine.
