My first car was a 92 Opal Ascona 1.8 SRI modded with a BMW drive train and wheels from an M3. It was silver and I could get 220> KPH on the autobahn. until I hit a phone pole

I´ve made some research:

Europe - Opel Ascona C
US - Chevrolet Cavalier,
     Pontiac Sunfire,
     Cadillac Cimarron,
     Etc...

It is a 88 brazilian Monza. I´m in Sao Paulo  :-)

Opel made it too. Named "Ascona".

Here in Brazil it was called Monza, too (by GM/Chevrolet).

Almost... It´s an old Chevrolet Monza, the famous J car.
It was produced worldwide under almost all GM brands. I believe Opel made it also
