Hi everybody,
I installed MagicWB 1.2p on one of my Amiga 2000 Series computers. How do you create the dock on the bottom? The registered version of MagicWB 2.0 has the dock feature turned on, But I can not get my copy registered. I went to the MagicWB web site and they are not accepting registration at this time. I want to use MagicWB because I think it looks nicer and is better then NewIcons. MagicWB is also more of a standard then NewIcons (just look at Amiga Format magazines).

There is no dock feature in MagicWB. The dock in the screenshot has been made with Toolmanager.
Bye,
Thomas

Download Toolmanager from Aminet and follow the instructions that come with it.

@BoingBoss,
MagicWB is a nicer looking theme than the standard OS3.1 look, but you might want to try OS3.9 as it supports both Glowicons and AmiDock.

NewIcons4!

I already have Workbench 3.9 installed on my Amiga 2500 system. I am working on my Amiga 2000HD, which has Kickstart 2.04 and Workbench 2.1 installed on it. This is the system that I want to install MagicWB and a Dock on.

Hi sorry to drag up this topic but does anyone know where I can get ToolManager from?
The Aminet links all seem to be additional files for it or binaries but not the actual program itself.
Thanks in advance!

If you only want a dock, try this
http://thomas-rapp.homepage.t-online.de/amiga/wbdock2.lha
.
Otherwise:
Binaries are the executable program(s) called.
You have to install the whole stuff, and there are requirements.

It's on Fish disks 872 (http://aminet.net/package/misc/fish/fish-0872) and 873 (http://aminet.net/package/misc/fish/fish-0873).
EDIT: And a later version is here (http://aminet.net/package/util/wb/ToolManagerBin).

This is the one you want if you need ToolManager http://aminet.net/package/util/wb/ToolManagerBin
On top of that you need to get its brushes and dock icons in order to create yr buttons etc. It needs time and effort to set an nice dock up with it but it is worth it.
Now an easier way but still configurable and good looking is the WBDock2 from Thomas Rapp. The one that Smasher told you 2 posts above.

or even Dockbot
