Is this the same Walker which was showcased at Amiga Benelux Show 2003(?) (where also the stillborn Amiga.org Magazine was 'released').

If I was lucky enough to own this,  first thing I'd do would be to replace the beige CD-ROM and floppy drive with black ones.

If I owned it, I'd set to work on making reproduction cases, and outsource the HW to be used to make newer HW, and then loan it to museums, to make money.
My machines:
PowerMac G4 MDD 1.5ghz 1.25GB 10.5.8 & MOS 2.7
Mac Mini C2D 10.6.8 2GHz 3GB 250GB HDD
MacBook Retina 16GB 256GB SSD 10.8
iPad 2

Need a part for a PC or Mac? PM me, I\'ll let you know if I come across it.

OS X trumps Windows on every level.

MorphOS, OS4 and Classic Amiga systems are the only ones who are real \'Amigas\', not that joke AROS or Amiga Forever.

Then you'd get sued into nonexistence by the patent, copyright, and trademark owner.  Just like we saved you and us from in the other topic.

Or you could reproduce the case, put a PC inside it and yell "The Amiga Walker lives again, the wait is over!" and everyone will go crazy.

Wait, was that too sarcastic towards someone certain?  Nah, I don't think so.

I think you got just the right amount of sarcasm in there!

Because they're obviously doing so much with the patent, copyright, and trademark now.

Didn't Merlancia buy the rights to the Walker case?

The very same.  BTW I'll be leaving the Walker web pages up, can I use that pic?

Nope.  They claimed to buy them, but I don't think they even spoke to the owner.

Amiga Technologies didn't own it either - they never paid for it!

Hmm, I should really update the web page sometime, I've collected various bits over the years I could put up.

On something of this rarity I wouldn't (and didn't) change anything.

Sarcasm aside, if someone were to do this (at a semi-reasonable price) I would buy one, especially if I could get it without the PC motherboard, and stick something like the FPGA Arcade in it. I always liked the Walker design :)

The cases shape may or may not be covered by a patent.  These were prototypes after all.  With a case you can produce a mould and use it to make copies.  You could provide Amiga stickers for the end user to put on themselves.  Sell the cases.

Maybe if someone gets one of those 3D printers we can attempt to remake the case.

Just do it and ask questions later.  I'd buy a replica Walker case in a heartbeat.  With or without diy labels.
