I remember seeing this on Amiga magazines, but, BODEGA sounds like "BUDEGA", which in Portuguese is a slang for "something with no value at all".
Bodega is a spanish word and it has other meaning and very interesting and important because Bodega is the place where are making the wines or selling, currently in Spain the Bodegas are the place where the wines have their making proccess.  But in Portugal you are different the opposite to Spain.

OK, lets nitpick further:
-a small Hispanic shop selling wine and groceries
-a warehouse for the storage of wine.
-public house

new meaning:
- a small shop where wine, women and Amiga computers are found! LOL!

I am entertaining offers for my Bodega Bay system for the Amiga 500.  It has 4 Zorro Slots and room for 2 drives.  I am also including a 2088XT Bridgeboard with 5 1/4 drive already installed.  I have the necessary software on a 5 1/4 floppy also included.

I loved the Bodega Bay but I have to make room in my small apt.

PM me with offers.

Thanks,

Miked

Were are you from if oversea's shipping will be to much..

Well BUDEGA is a Brazilian Portuguese slang.
Just checked the dictionary:
BODEGA in Brazilian Portuguese means:

"
s.f. Taberna em más condições de higiene.
Comida rude e mal feita.
Bras. Pequeno armazém.
Gír. Coisa sem préstimo "

;)
}~ A1200 - Apollo 68040 - HOTLY running OS 3.1
}~ Powerbook G4 1.67 running MorphOS 3.2 without Wifi.
}~ Powermac Quicksilver 933 with Radeon 9600 XT (r300) LOUDLY running MorphOS 3.2
}~ [MY iOS GAME]: http://goo.gl/S9nWB (Amiga users can get it FREE[/color], just ask me)

Well, in my BARBARIAN English:

s.f. Dirty Tavern (dirty because they don't care about hygiene)
Badly prepared food
Little market
slang: Something Useless

But you don't forget that much words in spanish and portuguese have the same base, when Spain and Portugal were a only country also we have much exchange the words, the only that there as here we can change the meaning, sometime more beaty other more ugly, this case also happen with spanish word in Latinoamerica and here, we change the meaning and they.
