Its not posted, but there was some loser in Santa Monica constantly posting on Craigslist asking over $1000 for a well used vintage 80's video editing suite with a A2000/Toaster.

How about this one then eh!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRAND-NEW-COMMODORE-1571-vintage-computer-disk-drive-for-C64-C128-/260973914340?pt=US_Vintage_Computers_Mainframes&hash=item3cc341e8e4

The price has to be a joke or is it?

Mike.

$600 for a floppy disk drive, that would be a good joke if someone was foolish enough to pay that much.

AdIDE 2 hard drive interface

$425!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/AdIDE-2-For-Amiga-Computers-/281043085891

I get that this is one of the few ways to add an internal hard drive on something like the A500, but OMG!  :-/

That's about as insane as paying $2,800 for a C=128, but at least you have the excuse of a bidding war. Asking $425 for tiny piece of silicon that lets you connect outdated hardware at least deserves a OMFG.

seriously, what is this guy on....

Poverty maybe, working poor type, paycheck away from being homeless perhaps. Most of the recent postings of insane speculative prices makes my head hurt. I'm going to be selling my A3000D soon and if I get $250 to $300 for it I'd be satisfied.
