I have a first generation, and I'd guess others do, too, but that's not what you want.

Is there any specific reason? People usually get the last mask so they can run it faster or at least cooler, but the differences between the first and next masks aren't significant. The only errata fixed between the 1F43G and the 1G65V masks is the F6 errata which most compilers already avoid by inserting a NOP in a specific set of instructions.

I'm not sure that the first 060 is working fine on a BlizzardPPC (because of some 3 diodes...)

Electrically there were no changes between '060s aside from lower power consumption. If you're worried about power consumption, the die reductions don't start until mask 1E41J and later.

Some guys said that the first 060 have a bug at boot and need 3 diodes... These 3 diodes are on the Blizzard 1260/2060 but not on the BlizzardPPC... So, I'm not sure...

Checked by me, it was bad surprise having Cyberstorm MKII 040 not working after upgrade to MKII 060...
Changing cpu to 71E41J mas and card was working fine. :)
Changing back to old 060 CPU and no joy... :(

Adding 3 diodes solved the problem with old 060 CPU.
