Apollo 630/50 on Aus eBay
« on: June 08, 2005, 10:24:01 AM »
linky

First time I've seen one of these go on Aus eBay.  I'd consider bidding on it, but I'd imagine this thing will skyrocket, even though it's untested and it doesn't have a real photo.  I'd be interested to see what it goes for though  :-o

 It's already up to $120.00, I'm betting there's been a lot of people waiting for one of these to show up. (Myself included  :-D )

Ooops, my bad :-o Funny thing is, I don't even own an A600, I just reckon it would be cool to have. How much would you be willing to spend on it?

Currently, nothing.   :-(  This thing couldn't have come up at a worse time, car rego is due next week :-( So by all means, bid   I just hope whoever gets it actually knows what they're doing.
I think I've used up my bargain finding skills for now.  I got an A600 (still nice and white) with manuals, 1084s (unbroken cover) and mouse for $15 at a library sale  :-D Ah well, it can live without a turbo for a little longer  :-P

How about you sell me your pearly white A600 to help raise the funds for you to buy the turbo board :-P

  :roflmao: Yeah, that's a great idea!  I'll sell you my A600 and then buy the turbo board and I'll hang it on my wall  :-P
I just realised we've completely hijacked this thread :-)

Well it would make a nice addition to a feature wall  As for hijacking, how does one hijack his own thread?

Point taken  :-P  In that case, you hijacked my thread  :-D If I find another pearly white A600 for $15, then I'll sell you it to raise funds for the next time an Apollo 630/50 comes up on Aus eBay.

I bet this one was recently bought on trademe.co.nz - which is NZ's version of ebay.  I was interested in it but they have a nazi policy of making you pay them before being able to ask questions of members.

Went for ~$190 there.  Betcha the guy who bought it is reselling it.

I just hope it works, as the seller says the item is "untested".

I'd be very careful about this auction. These things are a nightmare to install, working or non-working (I speak from experience). Still, it's overall a nice little toy, if you can secure it inside your A600 case.
