Hi,

BTW, would fitting a Blizzard4 (030@50) that's only designed for A12K, in a 600 be very difficult ? I mean, this is basically the same architecture (32Bits) huh ?

The A600 is 16bit, it has a 68000 CPU and an ECS chipset.
It would be very hard to fit a 32bit A1200 CPU upgrade to an A600, You could make an adapter which converts the surface mounted 68K to the socketed type and then use a A500 or A2000 (With a different kind of adapter) CPU upgrade.

But there are 68030 CPU upgrades for the A600 which would be the easy way

Hi,

AFAIK the A600 was definitely 32 bit (the 68000 was 32 bit, but appeared to the other components as 16 bit, or something like that).

Wrong, Its the same as the 368 CPU, 32bit internal, 16bit external, The standard 68020 was the first 32Bit 68K (And even then the EC version was 24bit).

Count how many data pins there are and you will see its 16bit.
It also stops you running OS3.5 & 3.9  :-(
