BoingBag in Amithlon?????
« on: June 06, 2014, 10:14:49 PM »
Hi Guys I'm not sure where to put my question, so I'll do it here. I have Amiga Amithlon installed on my laptop. But when I've installed BoingBag 3 and 4 then reboot, the DVD rom is not seen in WB. What's going on, cos the drive is seen before I install thoses 2 files.

Mike..

Are you sure it's fully compatible with Amithlon? Amithlon is for x86 but boingbags are for 68k.  Maybe try removing the scsi.device update.

You could be right. Maybe they are not compatible Amithlon. But I found out that boingbags 1 ,2 should be installed in Amithlon, so I thought the same with the other 2. But I'll backup scsi.device first (It's a patched one for large hard-drives) then try again and copy the scsi.device, and see what happens..

When the installer script asks what Amiga model you use, what are you telling it? If you say "Other Amiga", it shouldn't do an upgrade of scsi.device.
