Kiki speaks of her Video Toaster/Amiga heritage

On Friday at the Macworld Expo 2010 in San Francisco, the Star Trek rock band, Warp 11, played four numbers for the live, on-stage Leo Laporte show.  In introducing the band, Leo spoke about the Amiga and the Video Toaster and had a brief talk with band member, Kiki Stockhammer, before the band started playing.  Kiki then talked a bit about her history with the Video Toaster.

...she reminds me of the popular-hot-cheerleader in high school that -after graduation- isn't quite sure what to do since you can't get a job being a popular-hot-cheerleader.

Newtek still calls on her at times for various industry functions, and her day job is still in the industry.
