I am probably in a minority here but I never really liked the Zipstick, and the Competition Pro? Meh.

Me neither, although the only joystick I have is the competition pro.  Got quite a few of them.  I find that they're too small and awkward to hold.  My hand starts to hurt after just a short time using them.  But, to be fair, I would not be considered a 'gamer' so my my hands/wrists are not joystick fit.

Aside from the competition pro joysticks I have some CD32 pads but I'm not a fan of these, either.  I'd go joystick before I went pad for most scenarios.

The only way for me is the Greek stick, pacman/tomahawk.
Built like a tank, precise movement, satisfying microswitch sound.

Now that looks like a nice joystick.  Does it have sucker pads? If not is it easy to hold? I like the fire button too.  It looks like a proper arcade style button.

It has.
The main body is hard plastic and inside there is a big metal brick.
The switches are top notch.

Some better pics.

I still use one of these Elite-Sticks. On the CD32 of course i use the honeybee pad.

Also,  i recently purchased a brand new SEGA-blessed GenesisPad, which works fine as a 2-Button pad on Amiga. :)
