Agreed the flat style has no personality or pop at all and seems designed for tablets!

It'll be when it'll be. They can't afford to launch it with a crippled FPU emulator! In the meantime when is the A.L.I.C.E. laptop available in Europe?

@Thread

If the community can't even launch an off the shelf laptop with tweaked emulation software within a year of the announcement then what hope do we have of A1222 release this year?

It looks like they will ship the A.L.I.C.E. internationally for $98! It  would be better if there was local support and distribution from  AmigaKit though!

Because it's a product that allows you to use OS 3.1 (Amikit version) / OS 4.1 (Classic version) / Linux seemlessly on a laptop straight out of box and it is available now if imported from America! Commodore sold their inhouse LCD development division so this is a close as we've ever got to an Amiga laptop! That's why. The Tabor/A1222 is still unreleased without a release date with a problematic FPU at this point. Forgive me for getting excited about a product I can actually buy!
