Is there a way to mount a standalone Vampire card in these A1200 cases? I'm sure i'm not the only person wondering about it.

Of course there is, the V4 is rather tiny. You just need a frame or a plate that connects to the existing screw holes and which again holds the V4 board - even a cardboard plate will do. And then you need a keyboard adapter, and there are already many options for making USB keyboard from A1200 keyboards (or A500 keyboards).

I'm working on building a Mini Mac G4 into my light blue A1200 case, dedicated for MorphOS :)

That actually sounds like a neat idea and the right color case, to boot.  Put up pics when done, please.

Of course :)  One issue I am facing currently, is that the motherboard just turns itself off after 1 minute of being on, regardless of what I am doing with it. The power button is just shortening two pins, and that works fine, but exactly one minute later, it turns itself off - no, it is not warm or anything yet, so I suspect it detects that something is lacking of some sorts, and powers off. During that one minute of power-on, I have a few times managed to boot MorphOS iso into installer from a USB stick from OpenFirmware simply by typing as fast I can

I am looking into getting yet another G4 Mini to steal parts from, as the 1.5GHz mobo I have for this, was bought as just the mobo.
