The bit about it all that really worries me is the fact that a UNIVERSITY has to have a computer firm to build it for them!
I mean, if they can code the software to work on the system, you’d of thought the hardware building side would of been a doodle, especially since they actually chose each piece of hardware themselves.
Sigh. And I’m going to University at some point :roll:
Besides, if it’s a computer for actually number-crunching, rather than playing games, since they've got cooling issues couldn't they swap out all those illuminated fans for some high power mains blowers? I'd of also thought that it might of helped to *block up* those grills at the back, that way they could get positive air pressure through the GFX cards.
Heh, they could even bolt a big centrifugal blower to the top of the case.
Just my daily moan... :-D
