@1200

I've submitted it on AW as a news item (after seeing it on here)

Might be being a bit of a 'dingle dongle' but where does the hard drive sit. The ribbon just exits the side of the case, or am I missing something.

Interesting development I have to say.

I think either of these would fit just fine:

Yes they do!

Edit: BTW to everyone, I have the Vampire 600 board and can say i'm quite happy with it! Have nothing to compare to on a A600 tho since I do not have any other accelerator cards, but damn it fast for a low price. Still preffeer my A1200 any day tho.

That doom demo is very impressive. I can hardly believe that ECS is redrawing so fast at Hires Interlace.

Impressive stuff. :)

Another decent HDD option for the A600/A1200: Disk on Modules - plugs straight into the Motherboard! http://www.amiga600.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/a600_project5.jpg

I just wanted to pop in and comment on the threads original purpose, the A600 Furia accelerators by Lotharek.

I ordered one the other week and finally got around to cleaning my A600 and fitting it into it.

Installation was fairly easy, I had to fully remove the motherboard to be able to press the accelerator on until it clicked into place. I've no way of fitting a HDD in there right now so will go with either a PATA IDE DOM or a CF drive at some point.

Performance is great with the few games that I've tried so far but until I've got a HDD and the Gotek plugged in I don't have SysInfo are anything else to test with.

So far I'm really impressed though, it's very well made, quite easy to fit, and fells like a massive improvement.

The Vampire Mk2 is something I might buy in the future too but this is a good piece of kit in it's own right.

Andy

Don't worry wawrzon I don't think it's off-topic discussing the other options, I just wanted to post my mini-review in here since it started on that topic :)
