A.D.A. searching for people with PPC Amigas
« on: November 20, 2002, 04:56:50 PM »
Mdw/Encore sent us 14 original Amiga screenshots from his demo Sulaco/Encore. We also added a download link to both the Amiga executable and the divx (very high quality). A.D.A. is searching for people with PPC equipped Amigas to help us provide original Amiga screenshots from PPC demos. If somebody is willing to help us out, please contact z5!

We would be looking for someone who is able to take ORIGINAL amiga screens to replace the few demos we don't have original screens from. For ppc demos, we have to take screenshots from videos which means bad quality.

If somebody could take screenshots from Planet Potion/Potion, Future Visions/Potion, Option/Potion and a lot of the Madwizards demos, then you would make us really happy. I hope you can see that we aim for the highest possible quality in screenshots so all those not original Amiga screens have to go!

Many thanks for any reactions.

I have a PPC Amiga at 240MHz, 96Mb of RAM and Blizzardvision graphics card. All of it is functional and equipped with a scandoubler. However, I don't seem to find any e-mail adress to contact you at z5. Please post your adress or e-mail me at: samface AT mindrelease DOT net (spam protected writing)

Have the MWI demos been tested on Grex+Voodoo yet
because i dont seem to have much luck in getting
them running.
The latest i've tried MWI-TECF gets as far as what
looks like a cats grin at the start then goes into
a loop with the sound and frozen graphics.

AFAIK a lot of the PPC demos don't like Voodoos because they don't have a 15bit mode. Or something.
