what is BB4+

I saw that comment mentioning "BB4+", as well. I've done pretty extensive research on this and AFAIK there is no 4+. I think what poster meant was that they've done additional updates beyond 4, such as additional library updates beyond what are included in 4.

If there were an actual "4+" release, I I wish people would just upload these things to Aminet, instead of relying on hunting down obscure websites. *sigh*

Matt_H has it correct; it a recent (past year) update with most recent device drivers, libraries (such as icon.lib) and self adds correct S:S-S lines.

"+" means "or later". So if I say eg. a program requires OS3.5+, that means "OS3.5 or later".

Not necessarily. Look at the Apple II+. In this context it was a guy saying "I have BB4+", and the rest of us saying "What the heck is BB4+?"  Damned semantics.
