Hi everyone. I've just got into retro computing, after getting an unhealthy does of nostalgia when messing around with an emulator recently. Now it is costing me a fortune, trying to build up my collection of 8 bit and 16 bit machines I had when I was in my early teens.
I have recently acquired and A500 and an A500+, the latter having been butchered by it's previous owner (Agnus socket well and truly destroyed). I took the easy way out and replaced the motherboard, as I had no idea what else may have been waiting for me.
I have also got an A590 with 2MB fast ram, which had a 20MB SCSI drive. That has now been replaced with a ZuluSCSI card, which is a fantastic bit of kit.
The all original A500 is going to be subjected to a PiStorm and possibly a Checkmate A1500 case, if I can find the budget.
I'm sure I'll have questions soon.
Cheers.
Martin.
